Hi, I’m Tony Jung, founder of Korean Home Service. I built this platform out of my own first-generation immigrant parents’ experience. We only refer contractors who are verified, licensed, and insured, and who speak Korean. So Korean communities across the country can take care of their homes with peace of mind.

Why I built Korean Home Service
Korean Home Service is a Korean home service matching platform I founded in 2025. I’m 1.5 generation, born in Korea and raised in the US. When my parents bought their first home here, they struggled to take care of it. English felt intimidating, American homes were nothing like homes in Korea, and they didn’t know who to trust.
Watching my parents struggle up close, I realized something. This wasn’t just my family’s problem. It’s a problem for Korean homeowners across the entire country. Plenty of Korean-speaking contractors are out there, but there’s no way to find them and no way to verify them.
My background is what qualifies me to solve this problem:
- Bachelor's in Architecture from Georgia Tech, expert knowledge of building structure and materials
- Worked at a luxury hotel design firm in Atlanta, learned demanding construction quality standards
- Founded West Mountain Media, deep understanding of the US home service industry
- 1.5 generation Korean-American, firsthand understanding of both Korean and American culture
There are a lot of Korean homeowners living across the country. I believed someone had to step up and solve this problem. That someone turned out to be me.
